Sabastian Joe's or Edina Creamery. Sabastian Joe's in Linden Hills has the best space. Have fun!
My son is turning 9 this week. He has sort of outgrown the full blown birthday party extravaganza and we have definitely outgrown it! : )
We have planned an afternoon at a local indoor waterpark for his friends. No presents, food, gift bags, etc. Just come swim and have some fun. However, celebrating his birthday at a noisy waterpark is not his grandparents/great grandparents idea of a good time.
We cannot host a completely separate event. Financially is not feasible and our house is just too tiny and the kitchen and bathroom are mid-reno.
Do any of you mommies know of any ice cream parlors (or something similar) in the Twin Cities? I thought it might be possible to simply host a birthday dessert for family members but am drawing a blank on a good location.
We ended up going to Izzy's in St. Paul. Delicious ice cream (even in this ridiculously cold weather), great staff, free ice cream and polaroid on the "wall of izzy's" for our niece (cus her name is Isabella), fun neighborhood. Small-ish space though. Was kinda hard to have 14 people in there.
