Hello Heidi, You don't say what color the cusions are, but if they are white bleach would be the most effective. Hope this helps.
I brought out my cusion for my swing glider that I just bought last year and it has mildew on it along the seam! Is there anything I can use to clean it?
Thanks!!

TILEX MOLD & MILDEW REMOVER!!! I love this stuff!! I use it every spring to remove the mildew from our boat seats, life jackets, etc. All you do is spray it on, wait 5 minutes, then spray with water. It is amazing!
Oxiclean then leave in the sun, chlorine bleach, you can even try vinegar.
Use mildew remover or bleach and water.

A Mr. Clean White Eraser. Should take it right off.
If vinegar and water doesn't work, try Tilex Mildew Remover.
i know this sounds funny but shaving cream smeared along the seam until it works it self in then rinse with water. we used this all the time in our preschool. it takes off everything. i have also had luck using awesome from the dollar store. D.
Spray it with vinegar first(that kills the mold and mildew) then use a mr. clean eraser.
I would try vinegar and water. Let is dry in the sun.
Dear Heidi N.
I buy "Greased Lighning" at the Dollar Stores in our area and it has taken mildew out of different items that I have washed, like small throw rugs and towels that my grandkids forgot to hang to dry before they were washed in the washer and it all came out after it set for a couple of days. I would spray it thoroughly with "Greased Lightning" and let it set in the fresh air outdoors where it won't get rained on for several days and air can circulate around and under it and then scrub with a scrub brush and laundry detergent. After letting set with the laundry detergent for a few hours, I would spray it with the hose and see if all of it will come off and then allow it to dry completely.
Hope this works for you.
