We go every year (between Thanksgiving and Christmas) when it is slow. We have annual Florida resident passes and it is worth the extra money to us.
We are going to Walt Disney World in December and are trying to figure out if it is worth it to buy the extra tickets for one night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Any thoughts?

My asst mgr went to it and loved it!!!!
We went for Christmas in 2009. We didn't do the party and still had an AMAZING time!
We went a couple of years ago , it was so much fun! Definitely worth the extra $. Mickey KNOWS how to throw a Christmas party.
They turn Main Street into a winter wonderland. They make it snow. Free Hot Cocoa and christmas cookies. You can ride most of the rides and there are almost no lines. SO AWESOME.
My husband and I went for our anniversary with out the kids. I love Christmas and Disney. Disney World is my happy place.
We went and the kids enjoyed it. It is spendy. It is crowded. But the kids had fun and that's what it's about, IMO.
I took my son last year and we left early. To me it's not worth the extra cost unless your kids are really into Disney
I don't know but we are going in December too :)
We are going in December too. We are going to it. The way I figure it is you have to do it once in your life and you cant get into the magic Kingdom without tickets that night from 7-midnight . I hear it is wonderful ! Be sure to look at the schedule for it so you know the other days you wont be able to get into the Magic Kingdom so you can plan around it. Have a Magical Trip !!!!
I've never been, but we did just go to Mickey's Trick or Treat party at Disneyland and it was really fun! We had a group of 6 moms and 6 kindergarteners and everyone had a really great time. If the xmas one is similar, I would definitely do it.
The holiday fireworks shows are definitely something to see. They put a whole show together with projections of characters and a storyline, not just fireworks. We loved it.
Make sure you see Small World all lit up at night.
