I just discovered the Miche handbag at a local shop and think the concept is awesome. Does anyone have one? and what are the pros and cons? Thinking about Christmas!
Got one, the regular sized classic handbag about a week ago and I3 shells and I LOVE IT! So versatile and cool that I can easily change the shell to coordinate with my outifts. I am using it daily and curious to see how it will wear but it is my new favoirte purse. I can't wait to see the new shells coming out in the future. Plan to get a few for X-mas gifts too, have found a great sales rep in our area and found out cheaper to get from a rep than in a store.
A few friends have them.
1. They're rather small on the inside
2. They're like bellybuttons.
3. They're reasonably priced for what you get.
I have one and love it haven't had any problems with the shells coming off and I use the chain handles also.
I just saw that at a recent vendor fair. Love them and they come in all sorts of sizes including clutch (but the clutch is not the change out shell kind). Love the concept and when purchase might actually change purses more than twice a year.
I don't have one buy my aunt does and she loves it. She usually uses the chain handles in part because they're a little more flexible and were slightly longer than the ones her original bag came with. She has at least 3 covers and rotates them. She probably uses the Elizabeth cover the most. I don't think she's had any complaints about it and it's probably less expensive than what she'd normally spend on a bag if she were replacing one each year. The nice thing about the boutique where she buys them is that they'll hold what she wants when they get it in.
My besties both have one, and they love them. I do not like the current sizes/shapes I am one of those crazy purse people whose purse is wayyy larger then most but I am also 6'2 and can pull off a handbag that big.
I LOVE how they look but after I bought mine plus another shell i discovered the inside is too small for all of the junk I want to put in my purse.
So now it's just sitting there with all my other purses and kind of lonely. :( Love the concept though.

I went to party and I like the concept however they were too small for my liking. Plus I "heard" that the magnets on them can screw up the magnetic strip on your credit card. I do not know this to be true just something I heard. Awesome idea but I just wish they were a bit bigger :()(
I have one and LOVE it! I've always liked "fun" looking purses but never liked taking things out of a purse to use another one...I'd always forget something in the purse that was left behind. Now I have a purse for different outfits and all I have to do is just change out the shell. I've never had a problem with the credit/debit card magnetic strip. I feel like it's an investment at first but now am set with some really fun purses. (Five shells in all!!...Yikes!)
Regarding size...for me the size is perfect and if it's getting too crowded then I know it's time to clean it out. I also have the chain straps because they make it the perfect length for me.
The only con I've had was the cover fell off of one side once, but I just put it back on...this rarely happens...but a little humorous when it did ;)!
