Has anyone ever used Merry Maids? I have used 2 independent cleaning ladies and aren't happy with either of them (one bleached my carpet). I feel like if I use someone from a bonded and insured company I may have better luck. Any input will be helpful. Thanks!
We absolutely hated Merry Maids. When we refused to pay for a service they promised and never delivered on, they tried to guilt us by telling us that the woman who did come over would be shorted in her paycheck - even though she did what she was supposed to! This was a few years ago, but I guess I hold a grudge:) I now use www.constructioncleanpros.com as do several friends and mamasource. I am very happy with them.
We have used "Our Maids" for years and are extremely pleased. You can go on their website www.ourmaids.com. They are very reasonable and do a great job. Let them know that L. H. referred you and they may give you a discount.

I used them and found them to be very expensive and not very detailed. It seemed more like a "hotel" clean and that is not what I call clean. I liked the idea of them being bonded too, but so far I've had better luck with individuals.

We used them about 5 years ago and didn't really like them. Quality of work was just okay and no one spoke any English, so I had to call the office if I wanted to communicate with the actual people cleaning. After several companies and private people, I gave up and just clean my own home.
I have never liked maid services. I have used a private individual you was referred by a friend for years and love her. Ask your friends if they know of an individual that they can personally recommend.
