Was going to say James Avery but saw you tried them!
Hello Mama's!!! Our wedding anniversary is coming up in a few weeks and the only thing I can think of to get my husband is a cross necklace.. for the past few weeks he will show me ones he likes.... I have found one that has fit his criteria but it is 225.00 WAY out of my price range.... He wants it to be about 3 inches long and hang on a longer chain. Do you know where I can find a nice one for a good price? I have checked JCPenny, Macy, Kohls, James Avery... Also the chain has to be metal not anything else... Thanks in advance! Or if we cannot find the chain that he lies it comes with I am open to just the pendant and then he can find his own chain that he would prefer! Thanks in advance!!!

Wow 3 inches is a HUGE cross! I can't say that I've ever seen on on a "real" (as in, not a celebrety trying to show off, lol) person before.
When my son was baptised we got this for his Godfather. The chain was super long, but was easily adjusted to be shorter if we wanted it. Also, the dog tag was engravable and does not include what is shown in the picture. We also got the child sized verson for our son.

Go online and search Christian bookstores or jewelry online.
Try Kohl's online if you didn't find it in the store. My Kohl's sales flyer from this week had some nice men's jewelry in it. Including crosses.
By nature, I'm a very frugal person. My husband is not, and he's a spender on gifts. What I've learned from him is to spend the money on something of the best quality you can afford. Especially something like this that is going to be a keepsake - I'd spend the money or come-up with plan B until you can save the money.
One of the best gifts I ever received from my husband was a small picture frame (actually more of a locket) that had a picture of him on one side and a picture of me on the other. The catch was that he'd reached out to both of our parents and gotten a favorite picture of us as kids growing up to use instead of current pictures.
I've learned through much adversity in my life that the best gifts usually have the most sentimental value and the least monetary value.
Good luck finding what you're looking for.
