Memorial Ideas for a Premie 21 Week Old

For many, lit candles are a remembrance of loved ones lives and perhaps afterlife. The babies clothing, if the baby ever had a chance to wear any, could be framed. There is such a thing as printable fabric. It's on sheets that you can run through your printer. Copies of the child's picture and footprints can then be sewn into any number of items such as a quilt or a pillow. What you’re doing is very nice and I am sure your kindness will be very much appreciated.

I'm so sorry about your friend's loss. I don't have any suggestion for the memorial. But reading Lisa S response about baby's footprints, you might want to consider this for a memorial gift to your friend. One sample on their website uses a footprint as the body (gown) of an angel.

How upsetting. Your ideas sound great. I vote for white, as it symbolizes purity. As well, I would just keep it simple and clean. Maybe a nice little poem.

Im so sorry, this is sad. I like your idea about the colorful sand. Did they get the babies footprints? you could possibly make something with them. They have ways to put a copy of the footprints on something like a blanket.
