M.M.
I had both of my kids there and really loved the experience both times. I delivered both via c-section. My daughter (2008) ended up in the NICU with breathing problems. I was scared out of my wits. The NICU nurses were extremely patient with me when I called the NICU bawling on more than one occasion. They never found the cause of my daughter's problems, but she was there for 7 days. She's totally healthy now. I was happy with most of the NICU nurses (one I wasn't as crazy about). They did their best to mix in my breast milk with the formula they fed her (they had to feed her some formula so they could measure exactly how much she was eating, and because after I was discharged, I couldn't breastfeed around-the-clock).
With my son (born March 2010), I was just as happy with the delivery. The newborn nurses were wonderful, and the lactation consultant was great. The L&D rooms are very comfortable and clean. Something about the hardwood floors makes it seem cozy. I'd highly recommend Lewisville Medical Center.
