I need meal ideas that my husband can take to work using the ingredients that we are allowed to have on the cleanse we are doing. It needs to be something that needs very minimal prep if any at all. Basically we are allowed all fruits/veggies, sweet potatoes, chicken, fish, nuts and seeds, beans, grains (but not wheat) and spices. So no wheat, nothing processed (which means no sandwiches), no dairy, no sugar, no red meat. Any ideas? Thanks!

do you have a juicer? hubby and i just started juicing a few weeks ago. i have been having veggie juice for lunch and a handful of nuts. i love baked sweet potatoes, and you can make a few and then just warm them up each day. i love quinoa and brown rice (if you can have that). you can make veggie patties by grating some carrot, zucchini, sauteing some onions and binding it all with some cooked brown rice, cooked quinoa and some black beans.
good luck with the cleanse!

make a big nice salad with all the veggies in it you can. Then grill up some nice spiced up chicken breast, with no salt, then slice it up and put in on the salads. You could add some nuts and seeds to it for crunchyness. You could throw in some grapes into the salad to make it really tasty. And IMO when you eat healthy, there is never minimal prep. You just have to be PREPARED. Do it the night before.

grilled chicken breast, tossed up with veggies, spices - served with a fork. :) Could be eaten hot or cold. Fresh fruit for dessert.
