Can anyone recommend a GREAT math website for 2nd grade thru 12th where the child is able to do problems online and submit right away so they will know if the answer is correct or wrong? We've been using IXL I think they're looking for something different.
Also looking for a great website where my son can learn the MULTIPLICATION TABLES.

Reflex math. They give you a free trial but you do need to pay eventually. My 2nd grade son loves the games and it tells you exactly which facts they have mastered.
At school, Funbrain.com is allowed for the middle school students.
Coolmath.com is another fun one....
Both of these have a lot of fun games that the kids can play and different math games, also.

Cool math games seems free but I think first in math is paid for by the school district that my kids attend. They are given an access code and the teachers can assess what they are doing. I am not sure how home schoolers use it. But, I know they do.
My daughters use Mathway.com. It is free unless you want to see how to work the problem, then it is about $50 for the year. My oldest uses it for the occasional Calculus problems that she needs additional help in figuring out. It covers basic math through statistics. My youngest used it a lot last year for Algebra when she had a teacher who just couldn't explain it so that she could understand it. Another site is Kahnacademy.org.
Just this morning I saw something on Pinterest.com about songs to memorize times tables and math facts. For some reason their search engine isn't working for me right now, but you might be able to get it to work. I always found it easier for my kids to learn this sort of stuff to music. When they wer 2 and 4 y/o, I taught them the 50 states in alphabetical order and they both still know them (15 and 17), and use this knowledge on a regular basis.

Kids College, log onto kcclogin.com is the one the teachers here reccomend they give the kidz a password & that way the teachers can see what the child is doing as well.
If you home-school you can purchase any of the 'Math Blasters' which are specifically designed for the child & their grade. I bought these from pre-school to 5th grade, the kidz are now in 6th, 8th, 11th respectively & they STILL enjoy going on to play the games, they are all in public school but sometimes needed the x-tra help.
My son, 8, signed up on mathletics.com. What's cool is his class did it so now, they all compete online together.
