Hello, I was just wondering if anyones has some maternity clothes laying around they arent planning on using in the future, lol. I am only 12 weeks, so not too big yet, and I have a few pants that fit, but I am noticing that my little shirts are coming up further and further. I dont have a lot of money to go on a maternity shopping spree... but if anyone has some extras they are willing to loan or give me, or sell them for cheap I would appreciate it. Or if anyone has suggestions on the best stores to get them for good prices. Thanks guys!! you are so wonderful and I could not be doing this without you. I feel like you are the best support group ever, being new to this area without family or friends. Thanks! D.

I found a lot of cute clothes in thrift stores - there's one off of 14th and Park in Plano and one downtown Dallas - Genesis Thrift Store off of Lemmon.

Ross also has great deals.

I have several nice shirts and some jeans, khaki & black pants (all unworn, most with tags still on) that I would like to get rid of -- all shirts are smalls and the pants are size 4 Ankle from the Gap which means they are for short people. If these might work, let me know. I can send you pictures.

I have been too lazy to put it all on e-bay.

Kid to Kid can have some great options for you. I agree that Kohl's and JCP were very inexpensive options and Target too. I have also found some great things on sale at Motherhood Maternity. Good luck, welcome to Texas, and congrats on the baby!

I've wouldn't have made it through without JCPenney and Kohl's. JCP sells really comfortable dress pants that I was able to use for work and their casual line was just excellent in quality and comfort. I watched for sales and I was able to get most pieces for $20 or less. Kohl's was wonderfule for shorts and tops as well. I would recommend checking the Kohl's clearance racks right now for shorts that could be as low as $4 and will be perfect come spring time.

Since you are new to Texas, the weather is so unpredictable but you can anticipate the warm weather to start in late January with the occasional cold front.

Good Luck!

E-Bay (look for a 15-20 piece lot) and Kid to Kid are the best!!!!
