Mapping Websites

I am planning a vacation soon and would like to map out all the attractions we plan to see. I was using Google My Maps, but it's kind of a pain in the bu++ and not very user friendly. It needs to be free because the only reason I'm doing this is due to my type A tendencies, which are the same tendencies that recognize it would be stupid to buy a program to do this, lol.

I want to be able to place pins, calculate distances from one pin to another, and get directions from one pin to another - so pretty basic stuff.

Any of you mamas know of a free mapping site I can use to do this?

We used Mapquest for this exact purpose when we were planning our trip. It's really helpful.

I second mapquest. Also do you have a smartphone? Maps on there help with the drop pins etc...Fun to use.
