Hi Everyone,
I'm currently see a Cook Children's doctor (Dr. Daniels) but I'm wanting to make a change. I'm wanting to get a second opinion. Does any one recommend Mansfield Pediatrics? If so, which doctor? Or are there any other doctors in the Mansfield/Arlington area someone might recommend? My daughter has been vomiting for about a month. First I was told to switch her from formula to whole milk, then she still continued to vomit but it is only at night. Very rarely does she vomit during the day. She has not vomited at daycare since this all began. I took her in and was told it was because she is actively crawling around and putting pressure on her stomach, but my thing is is that she doesn't vomit after crawling. It's normally right before she's going to bed. I just need a second opinion. Any suggestion on doctors or what might be happening with my daughter, I would greatly appreciate them.
Thank you!

Hi-
My son(2 months) goes to Dr. Sampson. I plan to switch my daughter when she turns 3(long story-we moved here from Plano) to Dr. Sampson also. I really like her and her nurse. They both have great bedside manner. They are very low key, but thorough. I also had a nurse from ECI recommend Dr. Sampson. My daughter receives speech through ECI and I had said I was looking for a new doctor locally and I mentioned some dr. names and she said that Dr. Sampson is one of her favorites. My daughter still has her doctor in Plano. I did not want to switch until she turned 3 because she has some issues with gaining weight and they still wanted to have her come in every 6 months for a weight check. Anyway, I really like Dr. Sampson. The phone number is ###-###-####.

If you have any other questions feel free to email me.
Good Luck,
B.

Hi, I've been taking my boys to Mansfield Pediatrics for the last 5 years, before they were even called that. We use Dr. Sampson, and she is just great. Very easy to get along with and ask questions. She's good at what she does, and my kids like her, too. When she's not available, though, I'm comfortable with the other doctor there, Dr. Archer. I have not had any negative issues with them, and will continue to take my kids there until we either move, or the kids are too old to go to a pediatrician. Hope this helps.

I swear by Mansfield Ped. We have been going there for 5 years and we see Dr. Marcia Sampson. She is wonderful!!!!!!! She really helped us to diagnose our sons GI problems at only 6 wks. of age. When she is full we see Dr. Archer and we really like her as well. Dr. Sampson is the only Pediatrician (sp) that I know that will give you her home number and anytime we call in with a problem, they get us in the same day.

I hope that helps. Let me know what you think.

My son (Brady 17 months) goes to Dr. Sampson at Mansfield Pediatrics and we are really happy with her. And just last week we had a slight emergency and Dr. Sampson wasn't there so we saw Dr. Archer and she was just as good. They really listen and take their time with you.

I don't know about Mansfield Pediatrics, but we take our 3 month old son to Dr. Gretchen Prater. She's located in the Mansfield Methodist Medical Center (Professional Bldg. 1) on Broad street. She's new to the area (she has an office off of Matlock and 20 I think). She splits her time between the two. Last few times we've went, we didn't have to wait. She's very open and easy to talk to. Hope you're little one gets better!

Hello J.~
My children were also patients of Cooks and I didn't feel like we were getting the care that they needed. A couple of years ago I switched to Mansfield Ped. and I have been very happy. My kids have seen both doctors and my choice definately would be Dr. Sampson. She has been great and very thorough(sp) when we have our appointments. I also have a few other friends whos kids go there too. Good luck!
