I got the email also. I don't buy a lot online, I prefer brick and mortar shopping. So I looked at it and closed it.
Anyone else get that email? Does this mean that Mamasource is now a subsidiary of Totsy? If so, I'm done with buying their deals. I had a HORRIBLE experience with Totsy and deleted my account some months ago. I will not go back. I've enjoyed a number of mamasource deals, but Totsy was so bad I actually had to cancel the card on file to prevent them from charging me for things they themselves admitted they were not able to send me.
I see that Mamasource is still offering deals and I will be OK with buying through them but NOT Totsy!

IMO, it's a bad partnership for Mamasource.
I even showed Totsy a screenshot of where THEY cancelled an item but had not changed the shipping or removed the product cost from my shopping basket and they tried to deny it. It was right there! So I cancelled the card. Then they sent me a message saying "we can't process this without a card" (you otherwise cannot cancel an order and I only did that after months of issues). I told them WHY I was NOT going to update my card and were they going to fix it or not? They did not. Their system is so messed up that I couldn't even cancel my own account (my email address has a . in it and their system would remove it and tell me my login was invalid). Funny how quickly they were able to respond to my request to delete my account, but not the other stuff. I use Zulily instead.
I hear you on the emails. I had CANCELED my account with them and had to unsubcribe again to stop getting more emails from them. Uncool of Mamasource to send them my email address for their crap. And, yes, contacting them was darned near impossible til I said that I wanted to cancel my account.

Wow! I just unsubscribed from their emails - I am not particularly happy with my email being given to them in the first place, and then I have received a ridiculous number of emails from them in the last 2 days. So annoying!
I didn't get a recent email but I agree Totsy is horrible. I actually was introduced to it last year through Mamasource. I have bought other things with no issue so I think maybe Totsy runs through Mamasource rather than the other way around. I had ordered a backpack/child "leash" from Totsy and it fell apart before we even got to use it in any way. They asked for pictures and i never heard from them again. Word of mouth does work. bad followup loses customers.
I used to get emails from Mamasource for Totsy. I asked that my name be removed. I still get Mamasource offers but nothing for Totsy.
Until they fix their problems, they will never be successful as they want to be. Taking care of online customers should be their FIRST order of business.

I received it as well. It said that it had important information about my MamaSource account. I opened it an it was just stupid ads that I have never used before.
I have never heard of anyone having a good experience with totsy. Everyone I know who bought through them had problems - wrong merchandise shipped, no shipments at all, charged double, etc. And, to make it worse, no one was able to ever talk to customer service or get any help at all from the company in resolving their problems.
I most certainly will not have anything to do with Totsy at all.
In all reality I havent seen any changes and i am always looking at Mamasource deals. If they did subsodize I cant tell you how. They are still even running the same support so I am not to worried about it.
Maybe they just teamed up(seperate companies but co work together)?
