Magnet in Wii System

Anyone have any good advice as to how I can get it out? My 2 y/o stuck a thin, Buzz Light Year magnet in the slot of the Wii where the games go in. There is a disc in there but won't eject. I can't see any edge to the magnet either. TIA.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for your help!! I called Nintendo first and they said not to dismantle it or the warranty would be void. She wasn't sure if the magnet would damage anything, but said there was a chance. After talking to them I took a knife to it (very carefully) and was able to wiggle it out. Boys are playing a game right now...seems to be ok! Thanks again!!
Blessing to you all.

Call Nintendo before you do anything.

I would call the customer service and make sure there's no reason to be afraid of magnets in the system, then I would take something metal and tape or glue it to something, like a fork or shish-kabob skewer, and try to get the one in the wii to attach to the other.

although I guess a fork might attract it itself, depending on the magnet's strength, maybe another magnet would help?

Try sticking a THIN metal something in there... that the magnet may then attach itself too... then slide it both out.....

good ol' kids huh? Sticking things wherever....
my son this morning... stuck a game card in the piano... oh and right in a place where I cannot get it, without dismantling the piano apart.
He was so sad and was crying about it.
Oh well!

all the best,
Susan
