Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom for 2 Year Old? and DVD Player on Airplane.

I have two questions:

We are visiting my in-laws in Florida in February and are thinking about taking my soon to be three year old to Disney. My in-laws live only about 40 min from the park so we would just do one park for one day. Would my son enjoy the Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom more? Also, when I checked ticket prices, the children's ticket start at 3 years old. Does that mean a two year old is free?

I have a portable DVD player I plan to bring on the plane. Do you use headphones for a two year old? If so, what type is best?

What can I do next?

C.,
We took our daughters last november to Mexico, I also bought a DVD with headphones, but at the end we didn't use them.
The noise on the airplane allows you to use the DVD with out them. My daughters were 2 and 3 1/2, and they didn't like the idea of the headphones.
As for the Disney question, we are thinking also to take our daughters this coming september, they'll be almost 3 and 4 1/2. I've heard they enjoy it a lot regardless their age, and if 2 year olds get in for free we better take advantage of that!
good luck,

Yes your son is free and I would definitely do Magic Kingdom. We have been to Disney more than a dozen times with my 4 kids ages 7 to 3 months. I would also recommend calling 1407WDWDINE and making a Crystal Palace character breakfast reservation for 8am which will get you in the park early and let your son eat with pooh and tigger
Have fun!

There really isn't too much at Animal Kingdom to do for little kids. My kids were scared by some of the shows there. I would definately say to go to the Magic Kingdom. There's much more to do for little kids. My kids were free under 3. When we went on the plane we just used the headphones that came with their CD players. I know target has inexpensive headphones that work with dvd players.

We just got back from Disney and actually I would suggest MGM. It has Playhouse Disney, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, characters are out ALL day for pictures and they do an AWESOME character lunch with Leo and June (Little Einsteins) and JoJo and Goliath (you need to make reservations ahead of time for breakfast or lunch). And yes, I think under 3 are free. MGM is shows, where Magic Kingdom is more rides (there are some shows). I heard from others that Animal Kingdom is like a zoo for young kids - better for older ones.
