Hi everyone! I was thinking of buying the Magic Bullet for the hubby. Anyone have it? What are your thoughts? I read reviews but they are pretty split. \

Thanks!

What can I do next?

I love mine. I use it to make smoothies for the kids before swim practice (real fast), scrambled eggs in the morning, homemade salad dressing at dinner. I just go a second one to stash in storage because it was on sale and I had a coupon. It may not be rugged, but for the kind of cooking I do, it is great.

I love mine. I got a knock off first which I did not like. The real Magic Bullet is great. I use it mostly for smoothies, but have also used it for eggs, dressings, sauces, and even to grind coffee. I just rinse off the blade and cleanup is done. Hubby and I like different things in our smoothies. This makes it easier to make different kinds in just a minute. I recommend it.

I've got a knock off and love it. We use it exclusively for smoothies. I love that I can make a pb smoothie for DS and a banana smoothie for dd and only have to do a quick rinse of the blade in between rather than having to wash the whole pitcher. I also like the small size of the base, I don't have much counter space and I can leave that out without it getting in the way. Only problem is mine started to leak after 3 months. I bought myself the magic bullet for Christmas, can't wait to start using it!

We got one of the knock-off bullets for our son, and it has been handy. However, we all enjoy the Ninja food processor much more... and it is bigger, and does SO much more!

My mom bought me a Bullet a few years ago . . . and my review is mixed too LOL!

It's very handy for quick blending jobs like protein shakes and the like.

I'm not sure the blades are sharp enough to do some of the heavier duty blending that it advertises.

My con is that the little plastic things on the cups break easily, and the Bullet won't turn on unless those things press in the right spot. I bought some extra cups off Amazon.

Also my Bullet started to leak a bit after a couple of years. Apparently the seals get worn (they can be replaced but I haven't done it yet).

In the total analysis, due to their relative inexpensiveness, I think they're worth it. But they do have certain issues after time and use.

I really love my magic bullet. I use it to make fruit smoothies and shakes and it works really well. I guess it depends what you plan on using it for though!

We have had the Ninja for 2+ years and it's amazing. It was a holiday gift for my husband who loves to cook. I tossed out the blender and use this instead. It can shave ice into snow which is fun in the summertime. The original Magic Bullet was too small a container to chop a large amount of food at a time but I think the newer one has a larger container.

My mom bought me one, and it is good, but I actually prefer the Nutri Bullet (made by the same people), which has a larger capacity and a more powerful motor. We've only had it for about a week, but we've been using it several times a day to make fruit and veggie smoothies. Even my toddler loves the smoothies that it makes (no yogurt or milk needed--just fruit, veggies, water, and anything extra you'd like).

I've had the Magic Bullet for about 4 yrs, but stopped using it because it just took me forever to blend what I needed, since the cups are so darn small.
