Luxury Vinyl in a Rental? What Brand Lasts

I got a sample at Lowes and it easily got damaged. I am looking at one with a 10, 15, or 25 year warranty. I am thinking one that looks like wood planks. Would that be in style a long time and neutral?

What can I do next?

To last long the vinyl needs to have the pattern all the way through. I can't think of it's name now. I think vinyl wood look floors will be in for a long time and definitely neutral.

Perhaps you could find reviews on line.

Are you talking about flooring??????

We have the "Allure Ultra" vinyl floor planks in our kitchen.
Have had no problems with it and it is waterproof.
But we had it installed by professional flooring contractors. They install it properly.
Lowe's and Home Depot, has subcontractors that do installation. And ours was done by Home Depot.

Anyway, as far as a style that will last a long time, it really depends on what color/style you, choose.

We like our vinyl planks. It is very easy to maintain. It looks nice. Some people even thought it was real wood. LOL! Hardly anything has to be done to it. We have kids, and it has been fine.
We have had no problems with it.
Check the reviews online.
Most love it, some don't.
But so you just decide.

You need to be more specific. What exactly are you talking about?

I have used the vinyl wood planks in several rentals and so far no problems. I did keep some extra just in case there are scratches, but none yet. I choose them over carpet since they are easy to install and care for. They also give the appearance of a hard wood floor without the worry of spills or stains.

I don't remember what brands I used. One rental in PA (2 years ago) I got the flooring from Lowes and here in FL (one year ago) I got the flooring from Lumber Liquidators. Both look very nice and are lasting just fine. I know one was about 96 cents a square foot and the other was on sale for 59 cents a square foot, I didn't really notice a difference between them.

I forgot to mention that the house in PA has wood subflooring and the house here in FL has concrete slab and they stuck just fine to both types of subfloor. Just make sure the subfloor is very clean and free of old carpet staples, etc.
