Hi A., my son goes to moms day out 4 days a week, so I know the problem that you're having. My son is 4, so I don't know if the things I do for him would work for your dd, but here's some things I do for him. Sometimes I do mac n chesse..I fix it in the morning, and put it in a bowl with a spoon. In his lunch box, it won't get cold, so it doesn't have to be warmed. He loooves mac n cheese. He likes sandwhiches, so sometimes we do that. He also looooves corn dogs, so sometimes, I'll cook them in the morning, and wrap them in foil so they don't get cold either (again, they don't have to be warmed) and corn dogs are super easy for them to eat on their own. You can do the same with a small frozen pizza, but when I've done that he complains that it's "floppy" by the time he gets to eat lunch, so you may not want to try that. My son also Looooves the rolly polly sandwhiches (you can get them frozen at sams) they're easy, and don't really look, or taste for that matter, like a regular sammy. If she doesn't like "made from home" sammy's, you might want to try the uncrustables. My son likes those much better than made from home ones, and with those, you just grab one out of the freezer and stick it in the lunchbox. Hope this helps some. I know this is a challenge. I had to call and ask my mother for ideas:D
