I went with Pack-Its for my son. Kept his food cold all day long.
It lacks dividers, but I was more concerned about the safety of the food inside. I bought separate containers to actually hold the food.
I am looking for advice on lunch boxes. Which is your favorite lunch box to send your kiddos lunch in? I would like it to have dividers and keep food cool. Definitely environmentally safe and BPA free. I need one for a girl and a boy. Thanks for your comments and advice. :D

look up the planet box. They are VERY cool! I wish I could get them for my kids but they are just too expensive for me. They have all the dividers built in and they don't leak and they keep your food cool.
ditto to the pack-it!
We use the Go Green Lunchbox and LOVE IT!. www.gogreenlunchbox.com
I bought my son this one this year after his one from last year was destroyed before the year was over.

I bought the same one for his older brother and sister 5 years ago and they are still going strong. I love that there are no seams inside. I hate tring to get crumbs out of seams!
We like Easy Lunchboxes. We put a lunchbox freezer pack thing in with it, and it stays cool for a very long time.

I am buying new for this year. Plan to order Lunch Bots this week and hope they will last for several years.
DD has a Yubo lunchbox. I like it well enough. The faceplates are cute, but don't put them in the DW. The rest of it goes in to be cleaned and it comes apart completely so there's no sour milk lurking in the corner. DD will be using it for a second year. You can get a box without face places and add your own so each kid gets their favorite colors and designs. My DD is big into dinos so I looked high and low for that design. I leave it to you to decide if it otherwise suits their needs. I don't really use the containers they sell with it, or the bottle holder, but we do like the ice pack. We usually use IKEA containers instead, as DD doesn't do sandwiches.
The least expensive Thermos brand is the best. With an ice pack I find they keep things cold until lunch, and I am not so upset if they lose it or spill something gross in it and I have to throw it out because it sat all weekend growing mold.
I love cool gear's bento boxes and reusable water bottles. They are BPA free and reasonably priced.
