This is a personal question and need some advice on help on the matter.

Before having my DD I had a HIGH SEX DRIVE!!!

I had Hypermesis Gravarius (sp?) a.k.a. Morning sickness gone wrong.
So I was unable to have sex during preg. because it would make me sick.

After having my DD May 31, 2006 and waited the period of time before we continued relations I found that I had ABSOLUTELY NO DESIRE FOR SEX! My daughter is now 24 months old and I still feel the same way. I can live with out it compeletely.

I have no idea why I feel this way...I love my hubby, I feel attractive, no post-pardon depression (sp?). I just have no desire to have it....

Is there anything I can take to help me rebuild my sex drive? Has anyone else felt this way and what did you do.

I would like another child but it is hard convensing my husband of this because he had to wait a year to have sex again and doesnt want to go that long with out it again.

What do i do? HELP!

What can I do next?

I can tell you,you are not alone.. Most women go through this. Talk to your dr. Its not uncommon. Make sure also that you are setting the moods.. Do whatever it takes to feel like a woman once baby girl is alseep. Long baths with bubbles. Mood music. Wine if you drink, candles. Try to get in the mood.
And remember to its not always about Sex. Its about the emotions behind it all... I hope that helps. good luck.

I to lost mine after my son. But it came back after my daughter. I would try doing things for yourself, go to the tanning bed or getting your hair done. Some of mine was I felt 100% like a mommy and didnt feel like myself anymore. It helped me alot.
I tried reading books and all sorts of stuff but taking care of myself is the only thing that worked.

Here's some of the best advice I can give you. My husband and I are back on track now after a pretty good draught (we have a fabulous 2 1/2 y/o boy). We just kept drifting apart further day after day... until the smart phones... woo hoo...

both of you get a phone you can "chat" on... text chatting... he and I have totally ignited each other again, and I literally come home "ready"... it's been such a great experience... you don't have to find a place to talk out loud, and you can chat no matter what you're both doing... its awesome.

I don't have any advice for you, but I felt the same way after my son. I just had my daughter in April, and the drive came back better than ever. I would definitely talk to your dr. I was going to talk to mine, but then found out I was pregnant for the second time. Maybe it's just all the changes your body goes through while having a baby. I must say after the second one my sex drive came back!
Good Luck.
