Looking to Rent a Pool?

My husband is turning 30 and I am thinking about throwing him a surprise party. I know he'd LOVE a pool party but we don't have a pool. Is it possible to rent a pool completely? Not just throw a party there with other people, but really rent out the whole thing? We live in the South Hills. Thanks everyone!

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make it sound like I wanted the pool set up at my house. LOL. I mean rent it the way you'd rent a hall or clubhouse.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks to everyone! I am going to check out Scott pool and likely rent it out NEXT year for a combo party- my sons are both summer birthdays too! It would be most cost effective that way. I am so grateful for your suggestions!

I know that in Robinsone Township. That you can rent the town pool well you could. So call around to local public pools and see what they say.

Most pools close before dark. If there is lighting you may be able to have a party there after the pool closes for the evening. My daughter's softball coach 'rented' a pool last year after the softball season ended. Granted, they lived in a plan of townhouses and the pool was in that plan. They had to pay a lifeguard for the extra time as well. I'm not sure where you live but you might want to look into something like that. There's a YMCA in Upper St. Clair or try your local park/pool. Hope this helps! Good luck!

BTW - Love your sons names!!

Maybe you have a neighbor or a relative that has a nice pool you could "borrow"?

I live in Georgetown Estates. We have a pool/clubhouse. I know you can rent the clubhouse, I don't know about the pool too. Try contacting Amos Orner at West Point Community Management ###-###-####

Hope this helps! (We are located inbetween Peter's TWP and Upper St Clair about 10 minutes SOUTH of the Village Mall)

I live in Brentwood and I know different organizations have rented out our local pool for parties; I think you just have to have your event after the pool has closed for the evening. From what I remember, they have to be able to find lifeguards willing to work the extra hours and it is fairly expensive since they have to pay several of them to be there.

I am not aware of anyone renting pools. I wonder if you contacted local school districts if they could help? I think they host family swim times, lessons, etc over the summer. Perhaps they would be willing to rent their pool. Good luck!

We live in Greentree and you can rent their pool for private parties but I don't know what the cost is for non-greentree residents. Maybe check your local community pool first for better rates....
