I borrowed a friend's sit/ stand combo stroller a few weeks ago while we were shopping together and have to say that I really did not like it at all. My daughter is 3 and 1/2 and my son is 22 months old. It was MUCH harder to push than the Graco double stroller that I had left at home, does not have a cup holder (which my friend complains about too, was harder to manuver, it was hard to get into the basket below, and the kids didn't like being back to back because they both had to sit straight up if both wanted to sit at the same time. Sorry to be so negative, but those were things I never thought of when I saw people with the sit/ stand strollers before. We rarely use the double any more, but I think that in my case my kids were much happier if they were facing the same direction - that way they didn't get upset if one of them wanted to lay down. Just a thought. If you didn't want to spend the $500, I would suggest looking at a few other brands similar to the Phil and Ted's design. Good luck!
