Hi K.. While I was trying to locate the website for my son's school ( Mandarin Middle School) I came across this webiste. It appeared to be pretty cool so I signed up. In browsing around, I came across your note from late September of 2007, which indicates you moved to Mandarin in December of 2006. I can only assume you mean Mandarin FL which is a subburb of Jacksonville FL.

If you are in JAX FL, I too moved here in July of 2007 and live in Mandarin as well. My husband was actually born and raised in the Jacksonville FL area and his entire family continues to live here (which is part of the reason we moved to JAX).

While I can't offer any help on the home based business, I too am interested in working from home. I was an insurance adjuster for 20 plus years and lost my job in December. My husband was unemployed at that time so we put our home on the market, sold our house in 6 days and my husband moved to Jax in late Feb early March while I stayed with my child so he could finish out his school year.
