Can anyone recommend a good therapist/counselor in either the Denton or Roanoke areas? I would even drive as far as Grapevine or Keller to find the right person. I have been needing to see someone for a while and kept finding reasons to put it off, but with the holidays coming up things are getting harder to cope with. I would prefer not to talk to a pastor or preacher.
Thanks in advance.

E.,
I had a break-down the other day from stress, husband and the kids...mainly the kids set me over the hill that day. One of the mom's suggested joning a gym and I considered it but was worried about the cost. I did join 24-Hour Fitness, (very inexpensive), and noticed that my stress level had dropped so I am able to cope with things better, (they also have daycare which is a big bonus). I hope you find a good therapist and maybe a few hours at the gym will help you cope with things. I will keep you in my prayers.

E.,
My husband and I recently began seeing a counselor for some marital issues we are having as well as to work on individual issues for both of us. We found someone in Grapevine that we really like alot. I hope this helps and if you do use him, let him know Amanda W. referred you. Good luck and take care! Here is his info:
