Hi! Has anyone had any luck with finding a Wii console? All the stores seem to be sold out, and online stores are only selling packs/bundles which include several games. I'm just looking for the console. Thank you!

What we did was call around to stores (Target, WalMart, Toys R Us, and Best Buy) and asked them when they were getting their next shipment in. Then we got the Sunday paper (on Saturday nite) and looked through the advertisements. If a store advertises the item, they have to have it in. We went to Best Buy 3 hours before opening and they handed out tickets to the first customers in line for the amount of Wii systems they were getting in. It took about 5 hours total time to get one, but we did.
You can watch this website. It might take a couple of days of being diligent - but I watched here and got the console from Toys R Us. You just have to watch, and be ready when you see one available.

I found my Wii and the fit board both at target! People don't think of there when they want a gaming system. I bought at the supertarget in Tinley park and the Target in New Lenox.

i would continue to shop around. they will come out again all over. I worked as a toy store manager for many years. Also a note to gloria.. you and your husband should be ashamed to try to make a profit off people during the holiday season. That is sad. Why would you charge $500 for something that cost you 300. That is pathetic. Watch out for people like that.
