Looking for the Right Park in San Dimas

I just moved to San Dimas a week ago and have not been able to find the right park for my 14 month old son. Ideally the "perfect" park would have a play area for young children those baby swings and lots of shade. Any of you ladies find such a park like this in San Dimas?

What can I do next?

we take our son, now 2, to the park right behind gladstone elementary school near the new shopping center with best buy etc. it has the baby swings and a little climbing structure. then there's a covered patio with tables and next to that is a larger climbing structure and regular swings. i don't know the street name, but it's the signal off of gladstone that you turn to get in to the center by corner bakery. instead of turning right, you will turn left and as you pass the elementary school you'll see baseball fields for little league. turn left at the corner (juanita) and you'll see the are i'm talking about. there's also this big orange slide that you can ride down with your son. ours love it.

KUns Park in La Verne is a good place to take the kids. The play area is small but it has lots of shade! It's on the corner of Bonita and Wheeler.

Hi there -

I live on Glendora and there is a small park in Covina where they have the little play yard gated from the larger area. there is a small trail there too for the older kids. anyhow its on Glendora Avenue between Badillo & Cypress. It should only be about 10 minutes from San Dimas.

I would go there often more so when my two oldest were young. its has a "train" & the little swings & benches inside the gated as well as outside. the restrooms are right outside the gated area not too close just the right distance where you can see who goes in and out. its clean and all :)

Welcome to this side of the world! I don't know about a park, but i know that Bonelli Park butts up against Puddingstone Lake, which is actually a great place if you're looking for a beach type setting without having to worry about the throngs of people and dangerous waves.
