MY DAUGHTER PLAYED COACHES PITCH AT AGE 4 AND IT WAS LOTS OF FUN! THE ONLY REASON SHE QUIT IS BECAUSE IT TOOK UP ALL OF HER SATURDAYS FOR GAMES
Hi, I have a three year old son that I would like to get involved in some type of sport. He is very energetic and out-going and I think he would benefit from participating in sports. We live Apollo Beach so I'm looking for something in or around our area. It seems everything I've found has been for ages 4 and up ---
Thank you!

My son was similar at that age, he couldn't sit in a chair to get through an entire meal without fidgeting and leaving his seat. We enrolled him in Karate for kids (he needs to know left from right first). It really helped him understand the concepts of focus and self control and was a great way for him to build confidence and have a healthy outlet for all that energy. I highly recommend it.

This might be a hike for you but I just enrolled by son and daughter in T-Ball at the Brandon Family YMCA. They also have kickball, soccer and basketball and the age range is 3-4, then 5-7 etc. I'm not sure what Y's are near you in Apollo Beach but they probably have similar programs that start young.

I don't know how you feel about gymnastics, but my son used to attend Golden City Gymnastics, and they start classes at 18mths there. It is in Valrico though, so I don't know if that is too far, but if not then you should check it out!
