Looking for good sitter to come to my home. Have 3 children 9,7,and 4. not having any luck at the nanny sites, they all want you to pay for a membership just to get the contact information for someone that you still have to get your own back ground check and references for.
what days do you need a nanny. i nanny mon, tues, thurs. im 20 but i have experience and the people i nanny for have my backround check you can talk to them if you interested
I don't know of anyone, but I've had many friends find good nanny's advertising at TU or TCC. Perhaps you'll find a student studying for a career working with children. A couple of my friends even worked for a couple families this way too during college. The girls are usually affordable & kids love 'playing' with younger nannies. My 2 friends actually tutored and worked with the kids they watched over. One had an afterschool arrangement & picked up a little girl & stayed with her until the single-father made it home. As well as many weekends & evenings. My friend is a teacher now, and she worked daily on studies with the little girl so it was a nice deal for the Dad I think... You might consider it...
Have you tried posting an ad at TCC, TU and ORU? I had good luck at ORU. Also, Granny Lynnetes Nanny Service...they are local for when you neede someone in a hurry. Mary is the owners name.
You may want to look online, in newspapers and ask friends for someone they can recommend. I used to nanny and I know you can find great independent nannies that can help. I am not sure if I want to nanny again, since I have a child of my own now, but I might be able to help you temporarily if you need it.
