My daughter has her first 'sock hop' Daddy Daughter dance coming up. Her wonderful Memaw will be making her poodle skirt and blouse, but I'm at a loss as to where to by saddle shoes. Has anyone seen them around or know of a website that may carry them?
They have them at Zappos.com (free shipping); or I would try a dance supply store.
I saw some at Payless on 23 & Gratiot on Saturday.

Try Lynch's House of Sequins on Dequindre in Warren. Sometimes they carry them or can order them.
We have also used the summer type white lace up skimmer/tennis shoes and they work cute with white bobby socks, poodle skirts, etc. Got ours at Payless.

If you don't find them, paint a pair of ked type tennis shoes to look like them.
