For mother's day hubby is getting me lasik(I've been asking for years) so now I need to find a place. I'd like to hear any place you've personally used and liked and places you've used and do NOT recommend!

Eye Care of San Diego (located in Hillcrest - San Diego). I looked at several places/doctors and was recommended to Dr. Bokosky by a friend of mine (who is an E.R. physician). He was GREAT and the surgery was super quick and I was seeing w/perfect vision the next day. When it comes to your eyes, paying more is worth every penny! Stay away from all the 'ads' you see that offer specials....Dr. Bokosky told me that he ends up correcting or fixing a lot of surgeries gone bad.

I work for a local North County Ophthalmology Specialist pratice, have for the last two years. We refer patients very often to Dr. John Bokosky in Escondido, who is a top Corneal and Refractive Surgeon here in San Diego. Another great Doc is Dr. Paul Chen in Leucadia. I have a friend who worked for him at one point and she looved his bedside manner and his office is beautiful and friendly. I hope this helped. Let me know how it goes, good luck!
