Hi. I am looking for a reasonably priced 4 hour preschool program for my 3 year old son. I am having a difficult time finding one that I can afford and that will allow my son to attend even though he is not fully toilet trained. I enrolled him in a very affordable church preschool, and they said it was fine if he was not potty trained, However, the toilets are not located in the classrooms, and they are regular, adult-sized toilets. So, I am pulling my son out of the program because they are just not equiped to handle toilet training. I'm very upset because he REALLY enjoyed going to school (he only went for one day) and I hate to have to deny him the opportunity to go to school a few days a week because he is not fully toilet trained. He really needs the social interaction with other children as he is an only child, and is home with me all day. Does anyone know of a good program in the Winter Park/ Casselberry/ Maitland area that would be able to address my needs???? THANKS!!!!
Thanks everyone for your input. I actually went to Aloma United Methodist this morning and signed him up there. I was lucky to get a spot. I was looking for a 3 day a week spot, but they only had a 5 day spot....so I took it and we are on the waiting list for the 3 day program. I really liked the atmosphere there and all the staff were very friendly.
Yay! I'm glad you picked Aloma! My best friend's husband is the Youth Pastor there and her 4 year old goes there too. It's a great church and a great school too! I hope he likes it there!
CECE (Center for Early Childhood Education) at First Presbyterian church of Maitland. They have an awesome program. Their bathrooms are in the rooms and they have a three year old program for those that are toilet trained and those that are not. The best thing is they have the VPK program so next year when he is 4 he will be free.

My 3 1/2 year old son attends Go Play in Altamonte Springs (across from the Altamonte Mall). We LOVE the environment, director, teachers, and staff. My son has so much fun and is constantly learning. He is in the process of potty training and the his teacher works with him on this (they have toddler sized restrooms). They have a very low teacher-student ratio that allows teachers to give individual attention. I HIGHLY recommend the school- they also have a wide variety of flexible hours and programs. I'm not sure what you consider reasonably priced but Winter Park Presbyterian Preschool, which is where I send my son, take a "child-centric" approach to potty training--meaning they don't put age restrictions on it and the 3 year old don't have to be trained. Each classroom shares a bathroom with the classroom next to it (like a Jack and Jill B-room) and they are the small-kiddie toilets. They are very good at helping them along in the process too. I attribute my son's training a lot to him going to school there.
They are set up as a play-centric teaching pre-school so they introduce all their concepts with structured play. We started my son there last year and are continuing him this year in one of the 3 year old classes. We have been very happy with them and plan on keeping him their through VPK--we are not church members as are many of the families.
They offer 3 and 5 day classes for the 3 year old--4 hours, but they also offer extended days where you can drop them off earlier and pick them up later.

My son attends a church Moms Day Out program-- my other 2 kids went there years ago-- they have a very low turn over and very small class sizes, and they have child size bathrooms that are connected to each classroom.
