It really depends on where you live West Olathe is growing and I send my girls to Grace UMC off of Ridgeview and 119th and I still drive 15min one way. If you live close though it is a wonderful school and staff. good luck
Hi ladies. My 3 yr. old just started preschool for the first time a few weeks ago. It seems to be going well, but I drive 15 min. to get there then 15 min. back, two days a week. Doesn't seem like that big of a deal but is a bit of a hassle for me. So...I know this question has been asked a lot, but can you all please lead me toward a preschool that is closer to my home (West Olathe) and that you obviously feel is a great preschool?
Thank you in advance!

I send my 3 year old to Little Learners located at K10 and Cedar Creek Parkway. She loves it there! The class sizes are small and they have a very loving atmosphere.
Good luck with your search.
We have a three year old here in Olathe and we are going to the district preschool. Your kid can be a peer role model if accepted and you can pic 2-4 days a week. It is cheap and they get to learn about caring for special needs kids at a young age. My son loves it and he even rides the little preschool bus to get to his. They have them in most of the district schools. I am not sure what West Olathe is for you but our son goes to one off of Santa Fe and K7. Go to the Olathe School District site, then go to schools and look up Harmony as that is the main registration site for the district. I think the lady's name is Kim. If that does not work you can call Heartland and ask for Eldonna.
This preschool is in East Olathe bot worth the drive! I will begin driving my daughter from Shawnee when she turns 3. :-) Get online and google Brenda Schoen and Home Montessori Preschool. She runs the school from her home, and she is fabulous! Her curriculum aligns with the Olathe School District, and as a teacher, I highly recommend her. Good luck!
Hi. I live in nw olathe as well. My son went to Agape Montessori. It's at old 56 and Dennis by Go Chicken Go and Sonic. THey are resonable in price and a fun and safe preschool. You can also go to http://online.olatheschools.com/depts/earlychildhood/
You little one could be a peer with Olathe's preschool program. My son who is also 3 yr old. in enrolled with this program (but he is delayed in speech/language.) My understanding, they are always looking for peers. Hope this helps!!
