Hi Ladies,
Even though I am a SAHM I want to start sending my 3 year old to a pre-school. I don't even know how to get started looking for one. My ideal pre-chool would give each child some personal attention and try to nourish the whole-child....and of course academically start preparing him for kindergarden. I live in Coppell and am willing to drive a little distance. Please tell me how to start looking and I appreciate any recommendations.
Thank you!

Hi A.,

You should check into Primrose if you have not already. Two of the best schools located in Plano are both Primrose Schools. Here is the web-site so that you can check it out for yourself.

www.myprimroseschool.com/forestcreek
www.myprimroseschool.com/northplano

Both of these schools are owned by the same family and they are just wonderful. They offer full and part time programs with lots of one on one time. The educational curriculium is out of this world, and it really prepares children for school!

Good Luck!

Childrens Courtyard has a good program and the ones in Coppell have a good reputation. They definitely follow an academic track.

Our boys (PK4 and 1st) have been going to Holy Cross Lutheran School since 3 years old. They begin a "real" curriculum at PK3 and have some of the best qualified teachers around (last year our first grade teacher won the "Teacher of the Year" award from Wal-Mart Neighborhood).

They are a Christian school which is very important to us and the curriculum and resources are amazing! The environment is warm, loving and nurturing at all levels - it's like getting a big hug everytime you go in. We love it and the tuition is very reasonable. It's PK3 through 6th grade - www.hcdallas.org.
Hope this helps.
Blessings,
N.

Look at savvysource.com

I've had my kids at Carpe Diem private preschool for 5 yrs and loved it.

We recently moved and CD isn't convenient anymore (i'm so sad), but I'm realy glad I found Merryhill Preschool.

BTW - I was not impressed with Primrose
