Hi T.,
Someone already told you about meetup.com, but I just received a notice about a new mom group there called "Elmhurst Area Moms" . Good luck!

We're fairly new to the area and would like to meet more moms around here. I have a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old and work from home.
Thank You!

Looks like you already received some promising responses, but I thought I would share this with you. On www.meetup.com there is a meetup for Working Mom's in the Western Suburbs. Most of our outings are in Elmhurst and the surrounding area. Tons of nice Moms and kids (of all ages) in the group.
Hi T.,
We are also in Elmhurst (closer to Conrad Fischer Park). I have an almost 4 yo boy and another son who's almost 13. I work full-time (at the park district, ironically) but am always up for activities with the kids. You are welcome to drop me a line sometime!
Well hi there! I see the baseball fields from my house and also have a 2 year old girl and 4 year old boy! Plus another due next month. I am a SAHM, but am always looking for friends to play with. We go to the park often and where ever we can to keep busy! I would love to meet up with you and the kids sometime soon! As time is running out till #3 is due for me. Maybe at the park. Let me know!

I have older children but when my children were little I went to classes at the park district that involved moms and their kids. Perhaps there is something like that. Call the park they'll let you know. Are you able to get around, perhaps take them to some splashing fun classes somewhere? I know I live right near our pool and they always had things like that. Was also a nice way to meet other moms. There's also church and around here there are all sorts of activities. They have the free neighborhood paper in some of these stores such as Walgreens and the Bank of Elmhurst. Those usually list all the fun neighborhood things. Hope you enjoy living around here. I work in the area and live in the town nearby and we are very happy.
