Does anyone know of any groups I take my little one to? She is 5 months old. I have heard of gymboree...is this something she could benefit from, or are there any other places?

Not sure where you live, but the Columbus Metropolitan Library on Grant St (downtown) has a great story hour Tuesdays at 11am. I think they also have a baby laptime story hour for infants Mondays at 10 and 11am, which you might find more suitable. Their Web site is http://www.cmlkids.com/.

Hi M., I would also be interested in finding a playgroup for my daughter. She is 7 months, but was 3 months premature. We live in Grove City. If you get any good scuggestions, please let me know. I have not heard of gymboree. Where did you find information on it?
My youngest was really behind developmentally until we got her around other children her age all of my kids were older and she just wasn't developing properly now she is doing alot better..
Gymboree is also expensive, but lots of fun! I took my 11 month old there once (it was a free first visit) when she was about 5 months old. I am looking for a playgroup in the Circleville/Grove City/Columbus area, nights and weekends are best!

I am in the same boat as you my daughter is almost 9 months and I am trying to find a play group for her as well, but I need something in the evening or weekends because I work full time. I checked into both Gymboree and The Little Gym, Although she enjoyed the classes it is not cheap. At the little gym it is $300 for 20 weeks.
I am not sure if there are other thing out there to do.
