My son just turned one and i would like him to be able to play and interact with other small children but i can't afford day care at this time. i'm looking for play groups or any group activities that i could get him involved in. any ideas?

There is a yahoo group you can join called lilangels that is especially for playgroups. They go on outings, meet in parks, and sometimes go to peoples houses.
Good luck

Wow, My daughter turned 1 on the 5th, If you could get a couple more moms together I'd love to join in on a play group, My daughter needs more interaction with kids her age! I'd say we could meet somewhere but im a little weary on meeting 1 mom by myself, hope you understand! Feel free to message me.

Hi K.,

I just found a website called meetup.com. There are lots of postings inviting moms/parents to play groups all over LA!

It is a great resource for linking up.

Also, have you checked out My Gym. There are gyms all over and they are so much fun. A great place to meet other moms and a really active environment for Tristan.

You could also check out a Kindermusik class. Most place will allow you a free preview class to decide if you like it before signing up!

Good luck!
K.
