hello ladies I just moved back to Savannah with my 8 month old daughter and was hoping that someone knew of a local play group, the base we just came from had two and she loved them so much they were good for her and for me, so I am in desperate need for a new one here. If anyone could help me out I would so appreciate it. Thanks
Go to MOPS.org and look for a group near you. MOPS is a great resource for moms looking for friendship and fellowship with other moms. I run a MOPS group in Pooler, and have several moms who's husbands are deployed right now... but there are several in the Savannah area, one of which will probably have a meeting time and day that's good for you.

Unfortunately, Hunter does not offer any kind of play groups, unless one has started in the past year. I left Savannah last April when my DH deployed. I am involved in a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group that meets at Calvary in Savannah. However, they don't meet in the summer. The meetings run from September to May. There are also others MOPS groups that meet around Savannah. You can click on mops.org and then click on 'find a group'.
I've also heard from an acquaintance that there is some kind of moms group in Savannah, but I'm not sure where they meet or how often. You might just google it. I bet you'll find that groups aren't as active in the summer.
