Looking for Play-Dates in the Dearborn Area for My 3 Year Old.

Hello,
I am looking to meet up with other mom's, who have children between the ages of 3 and 5, and are interested in play-dates (pref. in the Dearborn area). I have sweet-natured three year old boy who can play just perfectly with both girls and boys (and trust me, he would be all about girl toys if I let him!). Currently I do not have him in daycare, though sometime this spring he will be back (or perhaps even starting preschool now that he is outgrowing his milk allergy). In the meantime, I thought I would send out a message to see if I can find other moms in my area, in perhaps the same situation. If anyone has any suggestions to activities during the weird weather months of March/April, let me know. We need to get out and do more. Recently we visited Chuck E. Cheese for the first time, and my son had an absolute blast. And now that he is outgrowing some of his allergies, I am not too freaked out by these places anymore. We'd also like to go to Civic Center to go swimming- I hear they have a great kiddie pool there! Anyway, I would love to hear any other suggestions, or maybe meeting up with some of you for some kind of kiddie fun! :)

What can I do next?

I live in Dearborn but my daughter is just a little over 2 years old. She's very friendly though. She's also used to much older kids since she's currently the youngest in the family right now. Not for much longer though, since my younger brother is having twins in June and my younger sister is also having a baby sometime this fall. I'd be willing to go on playdates with you but it'd have to be on the weekend, since I work full-time.

Also, you might want to check out Caeserland (I think it's called that!) but it's on the corner of Cherry Hill and Wayne. It's like Little Caesers but has a HUGE indoor play area that is just right for a 3 yr old boy. My daughter loves the slide. A large pizza also only costs $7

Hi C.! I am a 36 year old with a son who is 4. He is my one and only, therefore I try to arrange play dates for him to be around other children. I work fulltime, so weekends are the only time we have available for play dates. I live in the Pelham/Outer Dr. neighborhood. Contact me when you have a free weekend. My son really like trains and we often go to the Henry Ford museum on rainy days. A.
