My s-i-l swears by the great staff at Mearl Norman's in Chandler Mall. Yes, they sell make-up, but do ears too. Call ahead and talk w/ them to see if they will do a 1 yr old.
OK Mamas,
I am planning on getting my daughter's ears pieced next week. I don't want end up with some teenager in a mall store doing the piercing. If you've had a good experience anywhere in the East Valley, could you please tell me where you went?
Thanks!

Chandler Pediatrics!!!!
I was very reluctant to take my daughter to the mall so I did some research and for other people's recommendation I found this place.
It's a doctors office, the nurses pierced both ears at the same time, everything is super clean, is not expensive I just loved it!
My baby was 4 months old when we did it, she is now 1 year old and we never have any complication.
I took my girls to Claire's in San Tan Mall back in July. We had 2 young ladies the first day for my 3 YO and the store manager a few days later for my 6 YO. They did a great job and were very quick.
Actually at Claire's in the mall you do not get really young girls most the ladies they have do it are older.. That is were we had both my girls ears done when they turned 1 (now 12/15) we had no problems & they do both ears at the same time.. You can actually go in & meet the people & choose what day you want to go in depending on the people you want to do it.. My oldest just had her 2nd hole done & we went to Walmart (they are always older people in the jewelry area)they did ok too..
I wouldnt risk getting a babies ears pierced anywhere else than her pediatricians. Most pedis do it ;)
Here is another thought..I am letting my daughter choose if & when when she wants it done. I remember feeling so special & grown up making that choice! It was a special milestone for me as a child.
