Looking for Part-time Child Care in Plano for My 1 and 3 Yr Old

You can also go to care.com. It's a service for moms that need childcare but it's all thru private homes or your own home. I love this site and have sent many people to it. You can post what you are needing how much you are paying and what your requirements are. Then you will receive emails from ladies that are able to accomodate you. They are already bonded and have background checks and references but you can weed out what you need to and do interviews from that point. I have had much success with the site and it's just an option.

A great resource is the state has designated child care resource and referral agencies (google NACCRRA to find yours) they will help you locate child care that fits your needs including location, hours, child care facility or in-home, budget, curriculum, etc. It only pulls registered and licensed facitlies and they will give a ton of great information on what to look for in QUALITY child care. AND they tell you if there are openings so you save your time calling only to hear - Waiting list. . .

Check if there are kindercare's in your area and visit them to see which one you like. They do infant care up through after school care age kids, and the one I go to has several different schedules - you can do full time or part time, half days or full days. Good luck!
