Looking for OB/GYN in Cedar Park

I am looking for a good OB/GYN near Cedar Park that would be supportive of a plus sized woman through her pregnancy. I prefer to go to a small practice and would like to give birth up in North Austin. I have a great OB/GYN now, but he only has rights at St Davids downtown and I was not all happy with their maternity services. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

There's a great one in CP....Dr. Neilja Shami ###-###-####...>I know she does GYN stuff, but not totally positive she does OB....but, she would be able to give you names. I am in CP and use Dr. Baylor in RR....I LOVED her...Good luck!!

I had to same issuse about two months ago. I love my Ob/Gyn but didn't want to deliver at Seton 35th. I switched to Dr. J. Meadows. Right now she is officing out of the Urgent Care in Avery Ranch off of Parmer until her new office opens in Cedar Park. I will be delivering at Cedar Park Regional now and love the hospital. It's at 1431 and 183A. Her private office will not be open for about two months and I believe she will be in practice by herself. You should go tour the hospital you want to deliver at and then ask for a list of Dr.'s that deliver there. Another nice hospital is Seton Williamson County just about 3 miles East of I35 and Ikea.
Here is Dr. Meadows number if you want to try her out. She is only at Cedar Park Regional.

I also use Dr. J. Meadows, and I am a heavy woman (220lbs). She is a great doctor, and I would recommend her to everyone.

Hi,

Have you looked into having a midwife? I had a midwife for my last pregnancy and it was the best. I got better care than I ever did with my OB. There are some great midwives and birth centers in the area. Let me know if you would like more information or some names.

Lisa

Hi, J.-
I have a great doctor! In fact, I have discovered that a whole network of my friends use him, too. -Dr. Patrick Pevoto at Travis Ob/Gyn Associates. His office is in the Seton Northwest Hospital. Here's a link:
