I am having major problems with my childrens current pediatrician. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good pediatrician? I have two children who rarely get sick, but when they do I would like to have a doctor that cares. I am in the orange grove area and would like to have a pediatrician in Gulfport.
The pediatricians name is Dr. Goodman at the pediatric center. She had been great untill this past year. i think it is possibly her having more patients than she can handle.

If you end up not finding one in Gulfport, I know an awesome one on Popps Ferry/Cedar Lake area in Biloxi. Her name is Dr. Sigurnjak and she is wonderful.

I'm searching for a pediatrician in that area too. Would you mind posting the doctor you are having trouble with so I can avoid them?

Hi J.-
I am the mother of twin 2 1/2 year old girls. We go to Gulf Coast Pediatric Clinic-they have a clinic on Courthouse Road in Gulfport, one in Orange Grove, and one in Bay St. Louis. There are about 7-8 doctors in this clinic, but I must say being the mother of twins-we have seen each and every one of them and they all have been great. My recommendation is to pick two to be your main doctors (I picked Dr. Holland and Dr. Schephens) that way you can ask if one of them is in the clinic on the day that you are needing to be seen. I probably get one of the two them 90% of the time. Also, their clinic is open 1/2 days on the weekend-which definately cuts down on ER visits or Urgicare visits and it is usually on the weekend that I get someone other than the two I originally picked.
Hope this helps you out.

I too had Dr. Goodman and recently became very unhappy with her. I go to Dr Reeves in Long Beach on pineville road he is great! They take medicaid. Dr. Schepens is good but that office has to approve medicaid patients before you start seeing them. I also do not like Dr. Siddiqui or Dr. Lagrone (they are in Biloxi and Ocean Springs)
