Hello, I'm looking for a good quality multivitamin for kids that have alot of vitamin D/Calcium. I was going to buy Flinstones, but I read the ingredients and was not convinced. I want one with quality ingredients and no sugar/sucrose and anything that rhymes with gross. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
M.

I used to give my kids multivitamins from Sunflower, but now my whole family takes juice plus instead. My kids pediatrician suggested it (and he didn't sell it.) I became a distributor because I could get it cheaper, but I don't really "work" the business side of it. Feel free to contact me or look at the website www.juiceplus.com. My kids seem much healthier since we have been taking it. We have been on it about 3 years.

Hi M.,

I am a distributor of Shaklee products. Whether you buy from me or from someone else you know the products are the highest quality. There are never artificial sweeteners and the vitamins are guaranteed to be safe--no formaldehyde, lead, etc. They are sweetened stevia and can be delivered to your door by UPS. You can check them out at www.shaklee.net/elissachazdon.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

As parents we are most concerned that our children get the right nutrition and vitamin supplements are an important part of that. The most important piece for children is that it tastes good. They most likely won't chew and swallow anything that doesn't have a little sweetness to it. I agree with the part about sucrose, which is the artificial sweetner Splenda, being added. Fructose is merely fruit sugar. Do you let your children have fruit? I gave my children Koala pals vitamins. You can get them directly from the manufacturer, shipped to your front door. I'm a marketing rep for the company and would love to get you more information. I also promote and encourage green living. You can view everything on my website.

Hi. I too did a lot of research and chose Flintstones. Here is why...
They seemed easy to chew and not a choking hazard.
There were no odd ingredients like herbs that could be questionable for safety.
The Complete version has iron. My Dr. said my 2 and 3-year-old could have a whole tablet.
They taste good so my kids eat them (important!!!).
No vitamin should have a lot of calcium since that blocks iron being absorbed (and low iron = brain damage). So, in the evening we give them Vitamin D bears and calcium bears. We give at least 800 IU Vitamin D. It's now being discovered the old estimates were too low, as 70% of kids had too little.
The health food store vitamins were awful, from Whole Foods. I could not even chew them.
Hope that helps! These Vitamin D Bears, by the way, are wonderful and have no sugar.

My kids take a multivitamin that was recommended by an employee at a health food store. They taste like Flinstones, but are fructose free. They only have 50% Vitamin D and 3% Calcium, but the ingredients lean more towards being natural then filled with a bunch of unnecessary products. My kids drink plenty of milk, so I wasn't too concerned about the lack of calcium.

The bottle says, Dinosaurs Multisaurus and are by a company called Kal. I purchased them at a health food store on Gilbert and Brown (not Sprouts) I just don't know what the name is. Sorry, not sure if I have been of much help, but we are satisfied with this product and every time I try to switch the brand, the kids turn up their noses.

I have learned that when it comes to vitamins, you cannot compromise quality for cost. I am currently taking Biotics brand pre-natals, but before I was pregnant I always went to GNC. Make sure you stay away from those Flintstones whatever you do! LOL Good luck!

My daughter takes Nordic Naturals- Nordic berries and Dr. Sears Go fish Brainy Kids for omega 3's and DHA. We get them at Sprouts. While they are a little pricey it is worth it. I did a lot of research before choosing these for her. Watch for Sprouts vitamin sales and stock up then.

Hi M.!

I just read one of your other posts and saw your question about your 16 year old. I had a very similar problem when I was 15 and 16... they put me on the pill... I strongly urge you to look into what I'm going to share with you.

I am an independent consultant with Arbonne... and yes I sell Arbonne and... I wanted to share a few things with you...

They are hypoallergenic- Arbonne has a Zero tolerance policy, their products are dermatologist, pediatrician and ophthalmologist tested on HUMAN panels, Arbonne has Never in 30 years tested on an animal... And the list goes on and on...
Well as you can see I TRUST their products for so many different reasons.
I am not trying to SELL you anything. I just want to SHARE with you what I know, I have seen the difference their products have made on many lives. And I figured if you had the information you could make an educated decision for yourself.

Arbonne has three products in particular I wanted to share with you:
