I am looking for an infant class to take my 4 month old to. I would like to get him to start interacting with other infants his age and for me to meet new moms.

Check you closest library to see what they may have to offer. I live close to the Largo library and they have a weekly class for infants (Wednesday's @ 10 am) where they sing songs & do activities. The first part is structured & then there is time for "free play" so that the babies get to interact. Once they are walking there's a toddler class too. It's a great place to meet other mom's. There's a park next to the library so some of the moms take the babies over there after. It's a nice area for walking with the stroller if you want to get some exercise. The best part about it it that it's free.

Hi S.,

I would love for you to join my StrollerFit class in St. Pete. Demon's Landing Park is just south of the Pier downtown St. Pete. The first class is always free, and from there the monthly charge is $55. That gets you up to 12 classes a month. Classes are held M/W/F at 9:30. We do a variety of cardio and strength exercises, along with singing and entertaining the kids. Would you like to join us tomorrow morning? Call or email me back so I will know to expect you. We have a really great group of moms - helps all to stay motivated to get into/stay in shape!!

You can look for Mom's Clubs online, also search for MOPS. That is a great organization. You can also join a storytime hour at your local library. Although your baby won't interact yet, they are little sponges and will soon be singing along! Also, look up www.playtimeexpress.com. They have a great music class you can sit in on. At least you will be out with other moms! Its fun to meet new faces!
Good luck in your search for other new moms and have fun on this new journey into the land of motherhood!!!
Smiles,
S.

hi there,
Do you have a Gymboree anywhere in your area? They have wonderful play activities for age groups that include Music, art and play. They even have some for infants and newborns.
Good luck.
