Looking for Great Floor Cleaners - Edited!

Hi mamas,
I'm in the process of making my Christmas list ;-) and I am thinking about asking for something to clean my floors with. I have about 80% tile, 10% wood, and 10% carpet. I already have a roomba, which does a decent job if I just remember to set him going! I am really wanting something that will get the tile really clean since that is the majority of the house and where my kids spend most of their time. I thought about asking for a steam mop, but then I read that it only disinfects if you hold it in place for 15 seconds... that would take forever! So I would appreciate any ideas or recommendations.
Thanks so much!
A.

EDIT!!!
Ok, so I just saw the previous request that is pretty much the same as mine, so here is my new question: If I were to get a steam mop or a Floormate, do I need both? Like the Floormate for deep cleaning and the steam mop for spot cleaning?

What can I do next?

Don't know anything about a Floormate but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Shark steam mop. My floors seem cleaner than they have ever been before. I do the whole floor with it. If there is a sticky spot it can take a little longer to get up and you can't just swish it around like a rag mop, but it goes pretty fast all in all. I think it's about the same as traditional mopping because I'm not constantly traveling back to the bucket to rinse the mop.

I have a bissell flip-it. My brother has one also my mom got them for us one christmas. His house is all wood floors and he loves it. I had avery large kitchen diningroom combo that was all tile and a crawler. One side vacuums and the other cleans. I used straight very hot water and it puts it down then sucks it right up dry in seconds, I also have a shark steam mop that I go over the floors once a month with just to get the yucks. I have put straight bleach in the cleaner dispenser on the flip it but you have to but clorox it does the least damage and if you clean it real good after it does not eat the seals up. I have been using mine this way for 2 years and no leaks or problems and no dirty socks.

What about a Scubba? It's made by roomba, but its for wood and tile. I have a large area of tile floor and I use the scubba. Check it out on their website.

I bought a Hoover floor machine a few years ago (golly I don't remember the actual name of it) at either Wal-Mart or Sears, and I thought it was terrific. I use amonia in mine, and it works great on tile and linoleum. It works as a dry vac or a wet scrubber.

A., I clean tile & grout and carpet for a living, specializing in tile & grout cleaning. Once it is clean, I seal the grout so that you can maintain it and keep it clean for a longer period of time. I have multiple references and have worked for a couple of mamasource members who enjoyed my services. I would be happy to give you a FREE estimate and even a demonstration if you would like to see the difference. Steam mops and some other home products work great AFTER a thorough professional clean. If I can help, please call me (N. Stout) at ###-###-#### or for more info, my website is www.TheTurboTec.com. Hope I can help!
