Looking for Good OBGYN in Gwinnett

I am almost 30, just found out I am pregnant with my second. We are new to the area and were spoiled by the last doctors we had in Kentucky. I would love to find a good, female, OBGYN, maybe even a Christian? Also looking for a pediatrician. I tried one place and felt like I was in a clinic. I really like the private practice feel of a pediatrician that has a small town feel. Any help would be great. So far, the facilities at Gwinnett Medical look good. Thank you

What can I do next?

I went to Lawrenceville OBGYN. They were so wonderful! Every one from the receptionist to the head Dr. was wonderful. I had a bad experience with Dr. James Moulton,(my first Dr.), and I luckily found these people. They are in Lawrenceville, right next to Gwinnett Medical center. They made me want to have another baby, just so I could see all them regularly again.

I've heard that Dr Audrey Arona is great. She's a part of Preferred Women's healthcare in Gwinnett Medical offices. I've also heard great things about Dr. Villanueva in the same area. The doctor I see is not an OB. Good luck. I use Gwinnett Pediatrics but I have mixed feelings, the doctors are all nice, but they are HUGE and you sort of feel like a number. Maybe not what you're looking for.

Why does it matter what religion the doc is if it's a good doctor?

I would suggest all the doctors at Preffered Womens Healthcare for an OBGYN. I really like Dr. Evans (man) and Dr. Arona ( woman). It is a big place though.
For a pediatriction, I really like Dr. Sheth at Pediatric Associates of Lawrenceville. ( it is on Old Norcross) My daughter had jaundice and we have had multiple ear infections, so we are there all the time it seems. I really like them. Their number is ###-###-####.

I would like to agree that Maternal Gynerations is great! I used their midwives and I loved them! They are busy, busy, busy but that made me feel better because they really know what they're doing over there!

Maternial Generations is an awesome set of Doctors. They have a great mid-wife team too. They are located right around the corner from Gwinnett Medical. I see Dr. Hood, which is a man. But, when I was pregnant I went through the mid-wives and they were wonderful. Their number is ###-###-####. You need to call and go ahead and set up an appointment. They get really booked.

Good luck to you......
