I had the most wonderful stylist for 13 years. She quit to stay home with her young child. I have searched for a stylist that will do a good job, listen to me, has a pleasant salon atmosphere, and does not complain about her personal life for the last 3 years. Does a good, professional stylist still exist?
I took Susan's advise and contacted Artistik Design. I had my appointment today with Rebecca. And, I am so very pleased. I had the works - color, highlights & cut and it looks great. It's a bit more pricey than I'm used to; but, it's worth it to me.
Well, after consideration about the costs, I decided that Rebecca at Artistick Design just wasn't going to work for me. So, I started again. I went to Heather Melton recommended by Nikole D. Heather appears to be what I'm looking for in a stylist. Extremely qualified, yet affordable. She was willing to listen to my feeble attempts to explain what I wanted and didn't impose her will on me. I will be returning to her in hopes of having found a long-term stylist.

Go to Om at the Toni&Guy in the Galleria. I have been going to her for years. She is an awesome hairdresser and will provide everything you were asking for. She is great! I will be a customer for life!

I go to a stylist named Shannon at Visible Changes (located in Collin Creek Mall). She always takes what I ask for and makes it a million times better because she really knows how my hair will react to different cuts. She is really pleasant and I have had nothing but good experiences with her!!
