I am looking for a gynecologist who has a good bedside manner, listens to you, and wants to help patients solve their health issues. Preferably one who concentrates on gynecological problems and not OB. The last one I had (I won't mention his name) was very rude and not interested in helping his patients. I live at 360 and I20 area in Grand prairie. Would like a doctor that doesn't give up until a health problem is solved. Hope someone can suggest a good doctor.
Thanks everyone. Sounds like there is a lot of good doctors but it is hard to make a decision. But now I have to pick one and see if I can get in soon. I will let you know how it turns out.

Dr Paul Daum, I live in north Ft Worth and still drive to Mansfield (one hour drive) to see him, he is the only Dr in his practice and he always has time for his patients... he has even called me personally to "check" on me before, no other Dr has ever been better!

Dr. Weigman is the BEST! I had another OB with my first two girls and it was like night and day.
He is very loving and kind, but will walk you through all options on everything. He only schedules one person at a time, I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my appointment and an always in and out within an hour.
I have a few friends that see him as well.

I've been going to Medical Clinic of NOrth Texas for about 13 years now and LOVE the doctors there. They have two locations that would be convenient for you: one is at Matlock and I-20...Dr. Mary Finke was my OB for both my boys and is awesome. She moved to the Matlock office and that location is not convenient for me, so I still go to their original location, which is at Cooper and Randol Mill, across from Arlington Memorial Hospital. There, I see Dr. John Jeffers, who is thorough, funny and just a really great guy. I think you would be extremely happy with either of these two doctors. Their phone numbers are:

Dr. Ellen Parrill is a wonderful doctor. I have been with her for the about 5 years now and have always been very comfortable and had every question answered to my satisfaction. She's never in a rush and takes time to talk if you have questions. She delivered my son almost 4 years ago. There are several doctors in the practice. I have seen most as they rotate you with them when you're pregnant so you'll be comfortable with whomever might be on call when you go into labor. They are all great.

I use Keryn Dias with Medical Clinic of N. Texas. She is in a group of several doctors by ARlington Memorial but she is the one that I see. I have used her for over 10 years now and she is great. She - and her nurses- have been wonderful with regular checkups and when I've had problems. She - and the entire practice - are also OB's though. What about using your regular practitioner as your gyn ? I know most of them do those checkups also if you need them to. HTH and you find what you are needing !
Dr. Karen Moseley is a wonderful Dr. at Arlington Memorial Hospital. She is an OBGYN but is patient and listens to all of your concerns. I have referred my friends to here that have health issues and they lover her. I have been to the kind of Dr. that you are talking about and it is a waste of time.
