Hi all!
I've been avoiding going back to a dentist for a while due to a bad experience in the past, but I know I need to have some work done (probably a couple root canals...yuck!)
and I wanted to get things taken care of before we start considering expanding our family! So...does anyone know of a good, kind, compentent dentist in the Leavenworth area? I saw something on Dr. McKnight but the hours are pretty slim...and I'm thinking of Heartland Dental as they have better hours and quite a few dentists, but any input is really appreciated! Thanks!
Like you I have had too many bad experiences with the dentist. I can tell you don't go to Heartland. My husband had the last of his wisdom teeth pulled (two had been pulled the year before). They had to knock him out, then they cut open the wrong side. Then they stitched him up and cut open the right side. To top it off they charged us for their mistake. I have heard that the dentist next to Daniels is very good. Good luck.
Hi A., I use Dr McKnight and I absolutely love him and all of his staff. I had a bad experience in the past ( at Heartland Dental ), after that I did not see the dentist for a few years then started seeing Dr McKnight. I have been going there for the last 10 years now and couldnt be happier with them, they have always been very nice and they understand my fear / nerves when I go in and I always feel comfortable they are all very friendly which helped alot to get back into going to the dentist after my bad experience.
I use Dr Kerwin at the Smile Center. I like her and haven't had any problems there.
Stay away from McKnight! He's a rip off. I like Dr. Clemens over on 5th and Shawnee.
We go to Dr. Gary Courtney. He's very good with my girls. He's located in Lansing right next to Daniels BBQ. Good luck and I hope your next experience is much better!
